After transitioning from his esteemed military and law enforcement career, Jason embraced his entrepreneurial spirit by co-founding one of St. Pete's most celebrated restaurants, Social Roost, with his husband, Rob. The pair later sold Social Roost to focus their efforts on Rob Bowen Design, a premier luxury interior design firm with projects spanning the nation. In addition to their business ventures, Jason and Rob are dedicated philanthropists who are passionate about giving back to the community. Today, as part of the Mastry/Teabout Group alongside his mother-in-law, Julie Mastry, Jason offers personalized service rooted in deep local knowledge and a steadfast commitment to unparalleled quality. His career is further honored by the Bronze Star Medal—a testament to his leadership and valor.
On the personal side, family remains at the heart of everything he does. Together with his husband, Jason proudly raises two exceptional children—Emma, a senior at Rollins College, and Jacob, an innovative professional in the AI industry—while Bentley, their mini Bernedoodle and Chief Happiness Officer, brings joy and warmth to every day.
